Jimmy Mehta's journey is the definition of resilience, vision, and self-made success.
Arriving in the United States at just 19 years old, Jimmy built his life from the ground up - taking on multiple jobs, learning through experience, and navigating the challenges that come with starting over in a new country. Raised with strong values of hard work and perseverance, and shaped by a complex relationship with expectations and responsibility, he developed a mindset rooted in discipline, independence, and relentless drive.
While building his entrepreneurial path over the last 25+ years, Jimmy never let go of his passion for sports. As a competitive cricket player since 1999 and a coach across cricket, baseball, and softball, he saw firsthand how sports can change direction in a young person's life.
That realization became his mission:
To create a platform where kids - regardless of financial background - have access to elite coaching, structured development, and a positive environment that keeps them off the streets and focused on growth.
Through Detroit Super Lions and Lucky Athletic Club, Jimmy has built a low-overhead, high-impact, family-operated ecosystem that reinvests into youth development and community growth.
